David Archuleta of the “American Idol” is now one of the new members of “Kapatid, TV5.”

Last January 8, through their showbiz entertainment Sunday TV program “Paparazzi: Showbiz Exposed” of Kapatid TV5, said that David Archuleta of “American Idol” will be here in the Philippines on 13^th of January, Friday 2012.  David Archuleta is set to do with TV5 network for some prime time TV series.

David Archuleta will be starring with actresses Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Eula Caballero.

Few minutes after the said announcement, “American Idol” David Archuleta became the trending topic in Twitter in the Philippines.

David Archuleta: New Kapatid TV5 Member

During the interview in July 2011 with Yahoo! Philippines, David did share his much appreciation for the genuine support given to him by many Filipino fans and supporters. 

David said that the fans and people here in the Philippines are really different.  They are enthusiastic, very energetic and dedicated.  The politeness behaviour has shocked and surprised him so much.

David Archuleta placed second during the “American Idol” 7^th season in 2008.
